BI Consultant

My client is currently looking for a BI Consultant for an opportunity in The Hague.
My client is looking for a BI Consultant to start ASAP for a contract of initially 2.5 months to start with. My client may decide to extend the service performance one or several times up to a maximum of additional 50 working days to be performed at the latest by 31/05/2016.

The consultant will perform the following tasks:

BI Platform concept review
oReview of business, technical and security requirements, including information flows across operational and corporate domains
oUpdate concept definition document, including roadmap
oIdentification of suitable toolsets for the different functions (data acquisition and storage, processing, dash boarding, reporting, transformation, etc.), including assessing the potential usage of Hadoop-style solutions

Dashboarding Capability Update
oDocument, update Tableau Server/Desktop setup and configuration procedures, incorporating best practices for performance and flexibility and recommendations for (automated) monitoring
oRevision and development of secure access to Tableau Server data sources and dashboards, according to business function and target audiences, integrated with my clients IAM solution
oRevision and development of data acquisition method for the Analysis System BI data
oAnalysis and development of five (5) reference dashboards for the Analysis System solution
oReview and give recommendations related to implemented Siena (messaging system) reporting capability

BI data model
oInformation gathering on already identified BI data models
oDevelopment of data model documentation
oIdentification and development of suitable data model governance process

PROFILE OF THE CONSULTANT

-PROFILE:

Profile area 3: Design, deployment, auditing, operation and testing of IT security systems

-SENIORITY:

Senior Consultant: > 5 years' experience in profile

Skills required are:
Mandatory: Working knowledge of English.
Professional Experience - mandatory or desirable
Mandatory: 2 years of experience in configuring, customizing and developing dashboards with Tableau Desktop and Server
Mandatory: 4 years of experience in configuring, customising and developing analysis structures using Microsoft SSIS and SSAS
Mandatory: 4 years of experience in the definition of Business Intelligence platforms for data acquisition, processing and reporting
Mandatory: 2 years of experience in configuring, customizing and developing solutions based on Hadoop and Spark
Professional Knowledge - mandatory or desirable
Mandatory: Knowledge of Tableau Technologies products
Mandatory: Knowledge of Microsoft SSIS and SSAS
Mandatory: Knowledge of Hadoop and Spark
