BI/Business Intelligence Architect

BI / Business Intelligence Architect - London - £70k+

Our finance sector client is currently looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Architect with knowledge and experience of the Microsoft BI suite to join their team in centralLondon.

The Business Intelligence Architect will be responsible for:

* Working closely with the global architectural standards team to establish technical governance
* Ownership the physical design deliverables for business unit solutions
* Ensuring that appropriate design patterns and standards are used in BI platform developments
* Mentoring and assessing the lead developers
* Providing technical and system expertise
* Keeping up to date with technology trends and changes and identifying opportunities

Technical requirements:

* Substantial experience in the full software development lifecycle within the business intelligence space
* In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) with a focus on Microsoft Analysis services
* In-depth knowledge of writing SQL and MDX queries against the relevant data sources
* In-depth knowledge of MDX scripting for the definition of objects in a cube
