BI Analyst - Business Intelligence - Microsoft - Banking - Contract

BI ANALYST required, to work on a project within a major Bank in Basel, Switzerland.

We are seeking for an experienced BI Analyst with the following background. Tableau client and the development of

-Tableau dashboards against Microsoft Analysis Services.
- A good knowledge of Tableau server and how the dashboards can be deployed and shared.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft server BI technologies, in particular Microsoft Analysis Services.
-Knowledge of dimensional modelling and data mart design.
-Business analyst experience particularly in the area of analysing reporting and analysis requirements and working with the data architect to ensure that the underlying architecture evolves to meet the reporting needs.

The opportunity is to work on a project in a finance department to re-develop their reporting and data analysis platform with a Tableau/Microsoft SQL Server based solution. From the business knowledge point of view previous exposure to banking or to financial reporting would be really useful.

START DATE: October or November 2016 till March 2017 (evtl. Option for extension)
