BI Analyst

Support region and market in report development, customization, modification, and subscriptions in Business Objects environment with a focus on WEBI reports, some Crystal Reports may be included. Process regular Excel document updates and comparisons from different data sources. Process regular bulk uploads using Excel like grid in SharePoint. Some data/document entry may be required from time to time but is not the focus

SKILLS:

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

- Experience using data warehouse or analytic tools for business purposes
- Experience in writing SQL and understanding of ETL Development Tools
- Experience with ad-hoc query development (WEBI, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, SAS, or other)
- Experience developing reports using a reporting tool such as WEBI, Crystal Reports, and Excel
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of various business process and system modelling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of the system development life cycle
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, and create deliverables, as well as monitor their work for completion
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing products
- Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables.
- Flexibility to take on and manage new tasks

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Strong WEBI and Excel skills including experience with Macros.
- VB experience is a big plus.
