BI Analyst

My client, a City finance company are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst with a minimum of 5 years development within a BI development environment. Expert development level understanding of SQL (min 5 years experience). 3+ years extensive, commercial experience of SQL Server 2008 full BI suite of products, including exposure and participation of the full life cycle. A strong understanding of the development application life cycle, whether waterfall or agile. Ability to model and design solutions at an architectural, application, logical and physical level using methodologies such as UML or BPMN. Demonstrates strong warehouse design skills such as Kimball. Proven experience of delivery of IT solutions from specification. Exposure to financial services industry.

You will work within the Business Intelligence and Development team with responsibility for delivering the information requirements of the business. This will cover all aspects of solution provision such as requirements gathering, functional specification, modelling, design, development, implementation, testing and on-going support.
