Description

REQUIRED: MINIMUM 3-5 YEARS CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE WITH 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE HANDLING HR/BENEFITS

* Act as first point of contact for all incoming phone inquiries related to Benefits and in support of Open Enrollment. Manage inquiries, requests and simple cases to closure; appropriately escalates complex cases. Provide outstanding customer service to employees and retirees..*

PRIMARY DUTIES:
(1) Answer phone calls all day from company employees, retirees and other external customers.
(2) Document calls and walk-in visits using HR documentation and call tracking system.
(3) Resolve benefit problems by interfacing with carrier representatives.
(4) Respond to participants' requests for documentation.
(5) Maintain benefits records in various manual and automated records systems.
(6) Print and mail confirmation reports when updates are made to participants' records.
(7) Update various department transaction tracking spreadsheets.
(8) Use procedures, policy manuals, and/or other reference materials to assist in resolving inquiries or issues.
(9) Coordinate and complete various Health and Welfare processes as required.
(10) Provide general administrative support and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE 3-5+ years experience in a call center or other high-call volume environment, with a MINIMUM of 1 year of experience handling HR/Benefits issues is REQUIRED. Must demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficient in Word and Excel. Superior customer service orientation and communication skills. Previous record of outstanding attendance and punctuality needed. Must work well in a group setting.
