Benchmark Team Manager - Asset Management

Benchmark team manager required to join our financial services client in the city centre of Edinburgh. This will be for an initial 6 months, with a very high chance of an extension. My client has a generous budget and will offer very competitive market rates.

The role will involve defining and implementing controlled processes, managing workflows for the team, representing the team in senior meetings internally and with Data Vendors.

You will come from an Investment focussed background and have a thorough understanding of: security set up, fund launch, benchmark set up and the validation data feeds.

You must have demonstrable communication skills as you will be reporting to senior stakeholders within the business. You will be responsible for planning and managing the performance of a number of work streams.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Solid understanding of range of asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, OTC & ETD Derivatives, Money Market & FX/FX Hedge

* Good understanding of the data required by Investment Management systems

* Understanding of full trade life cycle including awareness of middle and Back Office functions/processes

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

* Experience operating in a complex organisational environment dealing with senior members of staff
