BENCH SCIENTIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in KING OF PRUSSIA, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The position plays a central role in supporting the development of products by generating, interpreting, and summarizing physical properties data.
- These data packages are key to support portfolio progression from early to late phase project development including regulatory contribution to files.
- Plan, design and execute work/experimental programmes to further the course of a development project and enable key decisions.
- This position will be laboratory focused, and will require the ability to run a broad range of instrumentation, a subset of which is GMP.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's or graduate degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or a related field.
- One to three (1-3) years industry experience.
- Knowledge and experience in performing laboratory procedures with standard operating procedures and in compliance with global pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.
- Has thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and drug development process.
- Proven strong written and oral communication skills.
- Interpersonal and teamwork skills as demonstrated by ability to interact with technical staff, investigators and management to accomplish department objectives.
- General knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical solid state/physical properties analysis including the areas of powder X-Ray diffraction, particle sizing, thermal analysis, microscopy, and surface characterization.
- Work seamlessly with other groups within product development as needed.
- Experience in analytical method development, validation and transfer in a QbD environment.
- Accurately record laboratory results within quality guidelines.
- Knowledge and experience in laboratory safety and compliance, occupational health and environmental protection policies and regulations.
- High quality standards in work performance with attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, and laboratory efficiency.
- Demonstrates high standards of personal integrity and performance.
- Responsible for following safety and quality standards within the team.
- Responsible for coordinating the maintenance and service of some instruments.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Training or experience in one or more specific areas of solid state/physical properties analysis such as diffraction analysis, thermal analysis, surface characterization etc.
- Experience with statistical analysis including design of experiments (DOE).
