Bench Scientist Biologist Job

BENCH SCIENTIST BIOLOGIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Collegeville, PA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Molecular Biology
- ELISA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide molecular biology support to R interpret data
- Comply with GSK policies and practices for data integrity, safety, occupational health and regulations
- Maintain collaborative relationships and effective communication within the department
- Maintain scientific excellence, discipline/platform rigor and customer focus

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in biological sciences, plus a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on molecular biology experience (can include academic experience)
- Experience in molecular biology techniques and recombinant DNA methodologies, including cDNA cloning, PCR, analysis of DNA sequence data
- Proven record of molecular cloning, isolation and characterization of cDNA clones
- Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, subcloning, RNA and DNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, RACE-PCR and site-directed mutagenesis
- DNA sequence analysis
- Bioinformatics experience and familiarity with genetic databases
- Design and engineering of recombinant reagents
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Tissue culture/transfections/expression of recombinant proteins
- Taqman/qPCR
- Cell based assays
- ELISA/Western blot
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, flexibilitydemonstrated good teamwork/interpersonal/problem solving skills
- High standards of personal integrity and performance
