SKILLS:
Analytical Techniques
- Requires BS/MS in molecular biology or related field and at least one year of laboratory experience.
- Must be familiar with DNA sequencing technologies and analysis of DNA sequencing data - multiple sequence alignments, identification of mutant sequences, in silico protein translation, etc.
- Experience with molecular cloning techniques such as plasmid construction, preparation and analysis, RNA, cDNA and genomic DNA preparation, DNA electrophoresis, and Northern and Southern analyses would be a definite plus
- team oriented, fast learner, good attention.
MOST CRITICAL SKILLS:
- DNA sequence analysis, PCR and subcloning techniques.
