Bench Scientist

The scientist will assist in developing next generation antibody drug conjugates. The role will entail performing conjugation reactions, purification, and analytical characterization of Antibody-drug conjugates (ADC). The scientist will also work to further develop suitable methods and processes for high throughput conjugation approaches.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform bioconjugation reactions to generate novel antibody drug conjugates (ADC)
- Use analytical methods to characterize ADCs (LCMS, HIC, RP-HPLC, aSEC)

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- BA/BS with 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Effective bench scientist; proficient in a range of general lab techniques
- Experience in working with proteins and antibody purification - required experience
- Experience in bioconjugation techniques.
- Knowledge of chemical reactions.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in IEX, SEC, HIC, and other chromatography methods
- Detail oriented and organized
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to complete experiments with limited supervision and present results in group settings
- Experience with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills

Familiarity with Proteins (Antibodies), purification and chromatograpy, bioconjugation and chemistry - High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
