BDWM Consultant (Datawarehouse) Contract
Banking Datawarehouse Consultant Contract Europe My client a global Powerhouse is in urgent need due to exponential growth in their business an experienced and talented Banking Datawarehouse Consultant to join their consulting group onsite with one of their many Banking financial services clients across Europe.
My client is looking for a consultant that will have a number of traits and qualities but does expect the candidate to have all. The traits listed are those found in a typical Banking DataWarehouse Consultant. It does not imply one individual will possess all traits, but the total list should be used as a means of understanding calibre and skills of the Consultants pool.
My client is looking at the following skills and attributes; Banking Business Knowledge, the consultant will have more than 10 years within in a financial institution with a knowledge of Banking Business Areas likely to be addressed in a Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Decision Support or MIS project. Knowledge will include but is not limited to Profitability Analysis - (All aspects, including Customer, Product, Channel, etc. Risk Analysis AssetRetail banking knowledge; Reporting systems; Basel II analysis, Securities, Trust, Investment, IAS, Sarbanes Oxley, Anti Money laundering analysis and other current RiskGeneral understanding of typical DW requirements from a business perspective; Central Warehouse Datamodelling and data base design; ETL procedures; Data Mining; Relational and or Dimensional Database designs; Central warehouse and Data mart design considerations Amongst other skills.
*Important to note my client uses IBM datawarehouse tools (models BDWM) so it is imperative you have experience with using similar tools*
This role will be working for my client on a portfolio of clients and client work which will be spread out across Europe, the assignments are likely to last from 6-18 months on any one client account. You will have to be prepared to work and travel across Europe.
