BAU Security Analyst

A Large International Bank with offices throughout Sydney are once again looking to expand their security team with the additional of a BAU Security Analyst

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Deploy new McAfee software to ePO managed machines
- Create exclusions for devices that are not managed by ePO
- Develop reports and SOPs
- Troubleshoot and repair ePO client installations on workstations and Servers
- Upgrade the client application when applicable on workstations and Servers
- Contact vendor support for problem resolution
- Install and configure the McAfee software suite
- Scan workstations for viruses
- Set up and administer Active Directory and ePO groups
- Perform recommended site maintenance tasks to include reviewing logs and responding to system status messages and alerts
- Perform annual re-evaluations of solution design to determine if there is a need to redesign and/or upgrade to remain current, or to meet new mandates
- Excellent attention to detail capability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to interface with all levels of management
- Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently or in a team setting

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- 3 - 5 years McAfee experience
- McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator - significant experience
- HIPS and DLP experience
- McAfee VirusScan
- Log review capabilities
- Documentation/workflow creation or updating skills
- Incident response
- Bluecoat
- General security skills
- Patch/vulnerability management
- Windows server and Workstation administration
- Windows and Active Directory security skills
- Windows systems administration

PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- BS Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with using Host Based Security System or McAfee Intrusion Prevention Systems
- Familiarity with administration, configuration and troubleshooting McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) and McAfee Host Firewall.
- MA0-101 McAfee Certified Product Specialist (ePO & VirusScan)
- MA0-102 McAfee Certified Product Specialist (Host Intrusion Prevention)
