Batch Management Specialist (Contract, Zurich)

This is a technical role in an enterprise batch management team.
This is a contract position in Zurich.
The start date is ASAP. The contract will last for the whole 2014, with possible extensions.

For this opportunity, we are searching for a strong and motivated candidate with the following technical profile:

At least 2 years experience working on IBM Mainframe with at least 3 of  the following:
- TSO/ISPF (general user)
- JCL (read and understand code, specially job card)
- REXX (read and understand, able to construct straightforward programs)
- DB2 (understand and work with data models, usage via SQL in program eg REXX)
- SDSF (user level)
- Unix Shell Scripts/Windows batch commands

Advantageous work experience:
- IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS/OPC) or Automic UC4
- Migration of batch definitions from one scheduler to another (specially involving TWS or UC4)
- Experience with technical and process documentation and user training
- Working with off-shore or virtual teams
- Familiarity and practical experience with database principles

Nice to have:
Experience working on Windows and Unix/Linux environment including:
- Oracle (user, data manipulation via SQL)
- Java (read and understand, able to construct straightforward programs)

or experience with any other modern Object Oriented programming languages (eg C#, C++)
- XML (read, understanding, basic usage)
