Basel Credit RISK Business Analyst

A leading UK banking group based in Halifax, UK, is looking to hire a Credit Risk Basel Analyst within their Retail & Wealth division.

The successful Basel Credit Risk Analyst/Business Analyst will ideally have experience working with retail credit risk models (EL, PD, EAD), a strong understanding of Basel III/CRD4 (ideally a specialist in this field will be preferred) and a recent history of analysing and designing Credit Risk solutions to achieve Basel Compliance. You will be working in a SAS environment, so SAS skills will be advantageous. You should also see yourself as a Basel SME.

Other requirements include:
* Prepare Business requirement documentation and functional specifications
* Contribute to plan of action for delivery of change

Essential skills are as follows:
*Basel subject matter expert, Retail Banking Experience

Desirable skills include:
*Prior Basel modelling experience (including retail EL, PD, EAD models), strong SAS skills

The contract length is 6 months in Halifax (with the possibility of extension) and the daily rate on offer is between £400 and £480 per day.
