DESCRIPTION: BARTENDER

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Minimal 3 years bartending experience.
- Experience within a full service restaurant is preferred.
- This position requires a positive attitude, hospitable nature with a desire to give service on the highest possible level and the ability to work as part of the team.
- Knowledge of service and cash handling procedures in full service restaurants would also be beneficial.
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS, INCLUDING EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS TO SUPPORT THE DAILY OPERATION OF OUR SEASONAL BUSINESS.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AS WELL AS DRUG TEST.
- BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- GUEST SERVICES: Must understand and meet all guest expectations and have the ability to communicate clearly. Provides service to our guests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. Be responsible for taking, placing and serving orders at the Bar. Needs to work well with other bartenders/Servers to provide a positive guest experience.
- FINANCIAL: Must be knowledgeable of, and be able to maintain cost of goods in the bar areas by following the correct pours and bar guidelines.
- SANITATION AND CLEANLINESS: Must follow opening and closing duties checklist to ensure the cleanliness of the indoor as well as outdoor bar area. The closing Manager will check out the closing bartender/bartenders.
- SAFETY: Must practice all safety policies and procedures as set by COMPANY
- CASH HANDLING: Must be able to accurately operate a POS ordering system and cash register and cash out at the end of the shift with a Balanced Drawer. Will take full responsibility for all funds and tips handled as discussed during the Training Period.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work in a very fast paced, high volume, multi task environment with temperature/weather changes. Must be able to work both indoor and outdoor in a seasonal environment.
- WARDROBE AND GROOMING: Must follow and adhere to all policies and procedures as set by COMPANY.
- ALCOHOL SERVICE: Must follow all OHIO laws and license restrictions governing the sale and service of alcoholic beverages on property.
