My client are a higher education establishment based within Greater Manchester. They are currently seeking a highly skilled developer with a niche set of skills as outlined below. The position will be an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of then being extended.
Skillset:
Essential
- Ellucian(SunGard) BANNER 8.x; knowledge and provable experience of this system, ideally working in a Higher Education Environment
- Excellent Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 11g / 11g R2
- Oracle Forms 10g
- SQL*Plus scripting
- UNIX / Linux shell scripting
Desirable (this is an unlikely combination to have with the Oracle stuff above)
- C# , .Net Version 4
- Visual Studio 2010
- MVC 3 and moving onto 4
- SQL Server 2008
- WCF Web Services
Additional:
- Oracle Reports 11g
- Perl
- Evisions Argos
- Banner 9.x knowledge
