Banking/Finance Background Lead Solution Architect - Datawarehouse

For our customer we are looking for a Lead solution architect

In order to meet increased regulatory and risk management requirements, our customer need to be able to have a bank wide view of customer, financial and risk data. To enable this requirements, they are in the process of designing the customers Data Warehouse, a federated datawarehouse. The strategy is to have two main warehouses, one containing all banking activities (eg loans, deposits etc), the second covering all trading activities. A federation layer should provide a seamless access layer to both warehouses for data consumers. The existing warehouses are on two different platforms and with two different data models.

We are looking for a lead solution architect who can help us to define the target design and implementation strategy for the our customers Datawarehouse.

"Must Have" skills and proven experience
- Solid banking/finance business background - preferably with some experience also from Capital Markets or Treasury environments
- Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence -Datamodelling (logical data models, dimensional data models)
- Solid understanding of master data management and meta data management -Experience with data warehouse federation/virtualisation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Experience in designing/rollout of federated data warehouses

Nice to have skills/experience
- hands on experience of running technical evaluations
- Teradata (knowledge of newer Teradata technologies like QueryGrid and Teradata Unified Data Architecture is a big plus)
- Oracle database and BI suites (OBIEE)
- Business Objects (and Hana is a plus)
