On behalf of our client, a leading global company within a financial institution, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with regulatory reporting skills who can implement and drive change. For this long-term contract position in ZÜRICH our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can as soon as possible.

JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analysis and gathering of requirements from a reporting and sourcing perspective
- Liaise with the data provider to ensure additional requirements are reflected accordingly
- Drive change with SMEs and IT contacts and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met and drive overall work stream delivery to ensure that all requirements are addressed
- Working jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions

YOU OFFER

- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Solid experience working with Regulatory Reporting topics (ideally Basel III or BCBS)
- Extensive experience in the Banking Industry
- Technical knowledge including SQL and experience of regulatory reporting tools (Axiom would be advantage or datamarts experience)
- Good understanding of business processes and corresponding IT solutions
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand regulatory requirements and business strategy
- Track record of working as a Project Manager in the banking arena
- Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken
