On behalf of our client, a major player in the banking industry, we are looking for a

Banking Application Support (m/f)

for a contracting project assignment in Geneva

Start of the project: ASAP

Project duration: 6 MM++

Your Duties:

- Provide functional support to Operations, Middle Office and Back Office, ie act as first point of contact for user issues, analyse issues, identify solutions and follow up on resolution of issues
- Take ownership of issues raised by all teams of the bank
- Write scripts to detect system problems
- Handle reengineering projects to reduce the number of incidents
- Serve our internal operations customers in Geneva and support remote locations
- Detail defect/enhancement solution specifications to found issues
- Provide feedback to development on application requirements helping to prioritize fixes and liaising with traders for acceptance after researching and diagnosing bugs

Your Qualifications:

- Experienced within application support (good knowledge of banking products)
- Experience handling multiple requests and queries at the same time
- Good SQL and UNIX skills
- Exposure to Business Object and WebSphere is an asset
- Fluency in English, team player and leadership skills
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy
