Banking Application Architect Job

BANKING APPLICATION ARCHITECT needed for CONTRACT assignment with Yoh's client located in STAMFORD, CT

- The key role of the architect will be overseeing the technical implementation of the core banking conversion.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Working on a dynamic team with the goal of successfully migrating our core banking platform to a new vendor.
- Responsible for reviewing/approving design documents, completing code reviews, participating in testing, and approving the release plan.
- Relied upon as a subject matter expert in the core banking system and should be comfortable answering questions about best practices for banking configurations, detailed product level information, and solution architecture.
- Work closely with many business stakeholders and should be capable of presenting to senior leaders.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of IT experience OR in lieu of degree High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of IT experience
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with Fiserv Signature Core Banking System.
- Experience architecting end to end banking applications (Back End system configuration through customer facing user interface)
- Experience working in a collaborative style with cross functional teams and senior managers
- Experience leading core banking system conversions
- Strong business acumen, clear communication skills and strong analytical ability
- Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a Matrix organization and partner with vendor development teams
- Strategic perspective with demonstrated accountability and execution
- Ability to drive compliance and standardization
- Solid understanding of IT organizations and desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Well versed in banking industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence clients, team members, management and external groups
- Good organizational skills in a deadline driven environment
- Creativity, enthusiasm and energy with a strong customer "can do" attitude and result oriented.
