Salary: 21.00 per hour

Serco Health are looking for an experienced Bank Theatre Scrub Nurse based at Braintree Community Hospital.

Braintree Community Hospital has two clean air operating theatres in which a wide range of Day Case surgical procedures are performed using the latest equipment in a broad range of specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedics.

We are looking for a qualified Bank Scrub Practitioners to join our team in order to meet the increasing demand for services. We are interested in hearing from practitioners with relevant post registration, competencies and experience to ensure the delivery of high standard of scrub experience and evidence-based patient care.

You will need to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team within a changing environment in order to ensure the department is utilised efficiently and effectively. You will also provide supervision to junior/ less experienced staff and be expected to contribute towards the effectiveness of the department, participate in developing standards and improving the service as required.

You will have scrub experience in either an acute hospital or day case surgery environment and a commitment to professional updating. A strong team player with a positive approach to change, you will also have an evidence based, patient focused approach to your work.
