We are looking for support workers to work on a flexible bank basis across a number of projects in the West Sussex area.

The organisation are a the UKs largest provider of care and support services, working with almost 30,000 vulnerable people in over 500 supported housing, justice and health services each year.

The role is to work alongside clients in a person centred way, and assist them in practical tasks which will help them to achieve the goals and outcomes documented in their care and support plans.

We are able to offer flexible shift opportunities in 4 services within the West Sussex area. These include – A young person's service in Chichester Foyer, an Older Looked after Children Service (OLAC), Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children's Service (UASC) and the West Sussex Domestic Violence Outreach Service.

Successful applicants will join a bank of support work staff that will be able to work across some or all of these services on a rota basis and will ideally have experience working in a support capacity within young persons support, family support or domestic violence. Although applicants with housing support experience working with other vulnerable groups will be considered.

The role will be joining a bank of support staff so hours can range dependent on the needs of the services and the availability of the applicant. Most of the services are 24 hours 7 days per week however applicants are not expected to be available at all times and can present their availability on a weekly basis.

The roles pay a basic rate of £8.97 per hour and supplements are available to applicants willing to work nights (where applicable).
