St Andrew’s Healthcare is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist secure mental health care. We care for people with mental health and learning disabilities as well as acquired brain injury.

St Andrews, Essex Pound lane, North Benfleet is a low secure environment caring for and rehabilitating patients who experience life difficulties as a result of their illness.

We have vacancies on our site for people who have the character and personality to work with those who have severe and enduring mental illness. Experience of working in the caring field, especially with the mentally ill would be an advantage.

Applications are welcomed from well motivated individuals, who are flexible, able to demonstrate high standards of care, and who possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Some experience in a secure healthcare setting would be desirable but not essential.

Work is not guaranteed but if you are successful in registering with the Nurse Bank this will offer you an opportunity to work in all the Clinical Services around shift availability.
