Hourly rate: £8.28 per hours
Hours: Casual - As and when required
Role Purpose
To be the first contact for all calls relating to the Serco Health contract. To service these calls efficiently and effectively to ensure the smooth running of the operation in order to maintain performance standards.
Key Accountability
To service all calls efficiently and effectively from Police Custody areas, Health Care Professionals and other sources
To follow procedures and guidelines and gather, retain, document and use all relevant information
Demonstrate personal ownership of all calls and situations and effectively agree a positive outcome
Constantly review workload and priorities
Display a polite and courteous manner at all times to colleagues and our customer
Undertake any tasks which are deemed reasonable within the role
Follow shift responsibilities which may change in line with Business need
Take ownership of all personal development constantly ensuring you are up to date with all published and available information
To work closely with your coach and Manager to ensure the best levels of service are given at all times. This will include Coaching and feedback sessions and to work with agreed development plans if appropriate
Provide any feedback as you feel appropriate to enhance the smooth running of the operation
Person Specification
Proven track record of working in a fast paced and high demand environment
Excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
Be able to use your own initiative and respond appropriately to a variety of situations
Ability to manage change effectively
Good keyboard skills
