Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse

Our client in Somerset has a locum job vacancy for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 24.56 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Offering one-to-one nursing for behaviourally disturbed, distressed or confused patients
- Offering support and advice to patients presenting a range of undifferentiated mental health, psychological problems and psychiatric illnesses
- Acting as a role model to other staff
- Utilising a range of clinical skills appropriate to the individual patient's needs

Requirements:
All applicants must be a registered mental health nurse (part 3 or 13) with a valid, up to date NMC pin. You must have at least 1 years post qualifying mental health nursing experience (band 6) or a minimum of 3 years post qualifying mental health nursing experience. You must be able to prove evidence of professional development since registering with the NMC.
