Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse

Sanctuary Health currently has a locum job vacancy for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within East Hertfordshire. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 24.72 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Promoting carer and service user involvement within the service
- Acting as the team manager in their absence as appropriate
- Coordinating care and assessments under the care programme approach of a designated caseload
- Establishing therapeutic relationships with service users and the implementation of evidence based therapeutic interventions with appropriate boundaries
- Undertaking assessments and coordination of care needs, planning and implementation of evidence based nursing care

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be a registered mental health nurse (part 3 or 13) with a valid, up to date NMC pin. You must also have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working as a band 6 community psychiatric nurse ideally within a mental health team.
