Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner (Camhs)-Shropshire

Service Care Solutions are looking for an experienced Community Mental Health Practitioner in Shropshire to work within a CAMHS team. The post is full-time (37.5 hours per week) for a minimum of 3 months, although an extension is likely. The position is Band 6 paying 22 per hour Ltd.

Responsibilities:
* To carry a community case load of 0-18 year old mental health patients in the Shropshire area, working across clinics and patients' homes in providing high quality care.
* To perform risk assessments and interventions/treatment where there are concerns about a child's mental health and well being
* To work effectively as part of a MDT (Multi Disciplinary Team) and liaise with other mental healthcare professionals.

Person Specification:
* Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse/Registered Learning Disability Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC or a Qualified Social Worker that is registered with the HCPC.
* A minimum 6 months working in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health setting.
* Must have a car available for work and be willing to travel within the community as part of the role.
* Must be an effective and responsible lone worker, capable of organising own workload.
