Band 5 Registered General Nurse - London

Our client in London has a locum job vacancy in London for a Band 5 Registered General Nurse within a prison. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 23-26 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:

- Assessing the care needs of prisoners with mental health needs
- Storing and administrating medicines in line with the NMC guidelines
- Performing administrative duties, record keeping at reporting to senior managers
- Screening, assessing and follow up support of patients using appropriate assessment tools
- Liaising with other health care professionals, agencies and prison custody officers within the criminal justice system

Requirements:
All applicants must be a registered general nurse with a valid, up to date NMC pin. You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within prison healthcare.
