Band 5/6 Prison General Nurse

Our client has a job vacancy for a Band 5/6 Prison General Nurse to work within a prison based in North Yorkshire. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 20-27 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Assessing the needs of prisoners.
- Taking responsibility for the storage and administration of medication.
- Looking after prisoners with mental health needs.
- Referring users to appropriate services.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:
All applicants must be registered with the NMC and have a valid up to date pin. Applicants must at least 2 years recent post qualified experience working as General Nurse. Previous prison healthcare experience is desired but not essential.
