Balance Sheet Reconciliations Accountant

Financial Accountant - 6 months - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate

A leading Energy and Utilities client of Hyphen is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their site in Warwick as part of a large Project of work. A successful candidate is expected to have experience of completing Balance Sheet Reconciliations and actively review the work completed by offshore teams.

Job Purpose:- To implement new processes, engage and work with supporting documentation providers and improve the quality of balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience Required:-

Balance sheet reconciliation work
Process improvement
Process documentation

Qualifications Required:-

Qualified accountant or qualified by experience

Key Tasks:-

Review of balance sheet reconciliations performed by offshore team (TCS, India)
Liaison with many other departments/finance teams to obtain support and explanations for balances
Process documentation
Support transfer of additional balance sheet work into the team
Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
Support improvements to quality of the reconciliations and timely clearance of reconciliation items
