Backup Technology Solution Specialist - ECM and Netbackup

Role:
My client is looking for a backup solution specialist who will be involved in designing and implementation of the Backup Solution for Energy & Utility Client in Germany.

- The backup solution specialist will take up existing Tape Back assessment and Migrate it to Disk Based Backup with EMC DATA DOMAIN.
- Sizing of VTL, Tape library and defining the backup policies.
- Primary: Backup Technologies: Data Domain, Symantec Netback up, EMC Networker.
- Array : EMC VNX Unified Storage, HP EVA

Profile:
- Should be well versed with Backup technologies
- Should be well versed with Backup Solution design and implementation with EMC Data Domain and EMC Networker.
- Should have implemented De- Duplication.
- Should have hands on experience in setting up the fresh backup setup for Exchange 2010 Solution.
- Should be well versed with Symantec Based Backup and EMC Networker implementation.
- Sound knowledge on troubleshooting Backup issues
- Setting up Backup, retention and archival policies.
- Must have had hand- on experience on at least two vendor products on backup and archival ( EMC and Symantec)
- Should have worked with EMC VMX.
- Should have storage migration experience.
- Well versed with SAN zoning and Switch technologies.

Skills in order of importance:
- Knowledge and experience on Solution Design & Implementation on Backup Technology. EMC DATA Domain, EMC Networker and Symantec Netbackup 7.0
- EMC VNX, HP EVA storage .
- Backup knowledge : Symantec NetBackup, EMC Networker.
- Unix and Windows knowledge
