One of my leading clients is looking for a Backup/Archiving engineer in order to improve their backup and archiving infrastructure and to design an integrated enterprise search solution.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:

MANDATORY:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the following fields:
- Design, management and support of backup solutions
- Commvault backup software (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with large storage environments (>100TB )
- Knowledge of file-archiving and mail-archiving solutions for Exchange
- Windows Server 2008 (64bit)

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

- Installation, implementation, and ongoing management of the backup &archiving infrastructure for distributed products (mainly Windows-based)
- Participation in Disaster Recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing
- Study of the Content Indexing solution in Commvault & alternative suppliers
- Implementation of an Enterprise Search solution which aims in offering one search page for all infra (file services, Intranet, mail)

YOU WILL BE MEMBER OF THE I&O SERVER ENGINEERING TEAM, WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING SERVICES AND PRODUCTS:

- Windows Server (2003R2, 2008R2, 2012)
- WINS, DNS, DHCP, AD
- Server staging infrastructure
- SCCM 2007R2
- SCOM 2007R2
- Sharepoint 2010
- Exchange 2010
- Server hardware infrastructure
- Hyper-V
- DMZ & security infrastructure (ADFS, )
- Storage and backup infrastructure
- VMS

LOCATION: Brussels

DURATION: 12 months (with hope of extensions 1-2 years)

LANGUAGE: French and English OR Dutch and English (preferably French, Dutch and English)
