Backup Administrator Consultant following experience & Skills/Knowledge:

Management software platforms (Symantec Netbackup, EMC, CommVault, IBM, Netapp, Veeam, HP, etc)

Role & Responsibilities:

Candidate should have 5+ years of hands on experience as a Backup Administrator and should have worked on multiple technologies.
Excellent communication Skills (Spanish for onsite and English for Offshore)
Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Candidate should be able to manage, optimize & provide the necessary information to manage capacity (capacity planning), monitor, operate, and deploy the service module elements ensuring at all times the quality, safety, availability and ensuring the provision of the service under frame the SLAs signed with customer.

Develop its work of administration and management on the "Best Practices" defined by the manufacturers for their technologies.
Candidate Should be well aware of Realization of management of backups and the resolution of technical issues related to backup and archiving.
Communication with the area of support and maintenance of the hardware and software manufacturers in relation to incidents
Regular monitoring of installation, both aspects to the platforms of Backup and archiving, as well as their relationship with the component of the operating system of the server that gives service own platform of backup and archiving.

Good knowledge of the ITIL Framework.

Management of changes in backup infrastructure and archived arising from the day of installation, as well as the maintenance of the documentation of changes in the infrastructure hardware and/or software backup solution and implemented.

Figure responsible for the service completely dedicated to this function and which serve SPOC (Single Point of Contact) to and from the head of Clients service. This figure will centralize all communication to Client and will participate in follow-up meetings, documentation, etc.
Manage and provide technical support ensuring the correct resolution and restoration of service ensuring the correct documentation and closing of incidents or requests for service, always in accordance with established procedures.

Coordinate with offshore team and support related resolution on high priority incidents/changes.
Drive & coordinate for the Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Drive service improvement initiatives.
