Skills:
- 5 years of experience as Backend Engineer
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
- Strong experience with NodeJS + Express (min 4 years)
- Strong experience with ES6+ and Typescript (min 2 years)
- Strong understanding of system performance and scaling
- Experience with Socket.io and websockets in general
- Familiarity with running large scale web services; understanding of systems internals and networking are a plus
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon AWS is a plus.
- Experience with MongoDB is a plus
- Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL is a plus
- Experience with Docker is a plus
