BACKEND WEB DEVELOPER CHANDLER, AZ CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Backend Web Developer to contribute to the development of a robust software distribution platform for the clients Open Source Technology organization. This platform will distribute some of the most well-known open source software packages in the world including Linux, Android and OpenStack.

This Developer will specifically provide Server Side Ruby-on-Rails/SQL/Apache application development and support for an assigned application. This application is a tool currently POR on CHV and CAT SOC programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build web interfaces that will be user experience driven and a pleasure to use
- Build groundbreaking web applications using advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Prototype future interfaces
- Work with product, design, and data teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of PHP, MySQL and object-oriented programming
- 3+ years of JavaScript and AJAX development
- 3+ years of high quality, high reliability websites and web applications development
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and LAMP stack development
- Strong experience with variety of software development methodologies, frameworks, and tools
- Proven experience working with server-level Web administration
- Experience with analytical, problem solving, debugging, and optimization estimation skills
