Backend Java Developer (Dutch)

We are urgently seeking a Dutch-speaking Back End Java developer for a long-term contract in Amsterdam with one of our largest financial services clients.

The Backend Java Developer (Dutch) will discuss and decide with Product Owner, User Experience and Customer Journey experts on the content of the propositions.

We need a Backend Java Developer (Dutch) who has proven experience in building new software from scratch, NOT a Backend Java Developer (Dutch) from a support, maintenance, bug-fix and small enhancement background.

The focus is the Back End. Frontend experience is also important, but to a far lesser degree.

The Backend Java Developer (Dutch) will ideally have at least 65% of the following skills & experience:

- Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Great English and Dutch communication skills, verbal as well as written
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- hands on OO design experience and knowledge of software design patterns
- Good knowledge of OS fundamentals (eg Linux, Windows)
- Passionate about code quality and (integration) test automation (JBehave)
- Knowledge of Perfomance testing via Gatling is a bonus
- Excellent knowledge of Java 7/8 including the Spring framework 3.x/4.x
- Knowledge of Spring Batch is a bonus
- Working knowledge of AngularJS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of WebComponents and Polymer is a bonus
- Experience with Git/GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Grunt, NodeJS, Bower
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
- Working knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
- Knowledge of Liquibase (for data migrations) is a bonus
- Knowledge of JBOSS Drools (Business Rules Engine) is a bonus
