We are looking for an experienced BACKEND JAVA DEVELOPER to join an exciting team dedicated to building Cloud-scale data services focused for the health and life science domain. The ideal candidate will be familiar with distributed system architecture and possess strong foundation in software development, application design of end user systems and have a strong passion about cutting edge technology. Our software developers take responsibility for individual system implementation and drive them to completion in a highly agile environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS or Master Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
- At the BS level a minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required.
- 4 or more years of experience in Java or Scala
- 2 or more years of experience in building large scale complex distributed system
- 3 or more years of experience in Linux Familiar with agile software development practice Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of Design patterns
- Experience with one of the following (Cloud Foundry, Docker, cluster Job scheduler's)
- Experience with popular Big Data and NoSQL systems (HBase, Hive, Cassandra, MongoDB etc.)
