Backbone Fiber Planning Engineer - Sweden

Backbone Fiber Planning Engineer - A Backbone Fiber Planning Engineer is needed in Sweden for our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, on contract basis. 

Main Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for extensions, alterations and permanent repairs of fiber and ducting.
- Be responsible for creating tender documentation, procurement of contractors, project management, implementation and documenting the construction, financial monitoring
- Negotiating with governments, municipalities and private property owners regarding agreements, technology and cost of the projects
- Ensuring that the contractor's work are carried out in the best economical and technical way and in accordance with the contractual documents.

Qualifications for the position:

- At least 3 years working experience in fiber planning for operators
- Experience with local operator's network (such as Telenor) is highly appreciated.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and good Swedish.
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Can do and driving/entrepreneurship attitude,
- Being result oriented, good skills in leading and motivating people
- University in Telecommunications, Construction or Electric Power or equal experience from work
