Back Office VAS Support Engineer - 2nd Level SupportTangent International are currently looking for a 2nd Level VAS Support Engineer to work based in Kolkata, India on a 3 - 6 month rolling contract.

2nd LA is also responsible for Customer Support delivery for Customer having Manage Service agreement and is the highest level of Support.

Responsibilities
Responsible for operation and maintenance (O&M) of M&A nodes and services
Meet or exceed the M&A Nodes network availability targets & responsibilities.
To work within well defined system support guidelines.
To priorities faults to meet SLA/WLA.
To investigate faults/cause related to system/network problems.

Technical Competence- Experience of the following products - SS8 VMS, Movius VMS, Exomi EMG, Comverse AIN, Comverse VMS 4.0
Good knowledge of Telecommunications concepts and Messaging.
Good knowledge of UNIX, Linux & Solaris, Oracle.

- Competency: SS7, IP, Sigtran, M3UA, MNP and related call flows
- Product Competency: MMSC, MSP, MSDP, SMSC, IPTV, SASN, SAPC etc
