Back Office/Reconciliation Officer - must be Based in Switzerland

We are searching for a Back Office/Reconciliation Officer. We can only consider locally based candidates.
We are looking for a temporary assignment in our Banking Department, in the Back Office. We are a looking for a 50% percent person to replace a staff member on sick leave, the contract would be for three months, starting as soon as possible. You will work in a small team of 4/5 people.
Purpose of the job:
- To reconcile confirmations and settlements. To perform static data maintenance and audit requests.
- Principal accountabilities:
- Ability to cover a variety of Back Office tasks, possibly on a rota basis. These include:
- investigating and resolving confirmation mismatches and settlement failures together with Front Office, custodians and customers;
- maintaining static data and settlement instructions;
- participating in small IT projects
- producing reports.
Qualifications:
- Commercial diploma or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of financial instruments.
- Experience of SWIFT messaging formats.
- Knowledge of Reuters and Bloomberg information systems.
Skills:
- Flexible, cooperative, team player.
- Ability to work methodically and accurately even under pressure.
- Customer-focused.
- Able to communicate clearly and promptly.
- Computer-literate.
- Fluent in English
Work experience:
- MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR'S WORK EXPERIENCE OF BACK OR FRONT OFFICE ACTIVITIES.
- Experience with integrated trading systems desirable.
