We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for a Back Office PS/CS Core Engineer to join their business in Switzerland.
Position Title: Back Office PS/CS Core Engineer
Position Type: 3 months contract, than permanent
Start Date: March 2015
Location: Switzerland, Zurich

Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and optimize clients network.
- Integration of clients new network elements and liaising with project team for implementation of new services.
- Provide assistance to the GNOC.
- 2nd and 3rd level incident and problem management as well as preventive maintenance.
- Emergency support covering 24/7.
- Functional testing as well as overall responsibility for Change Requests.
Qualifications
- Degree in Telecommunication or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years experience in CS/PS Core area.
- Wide knowledge of GSM/GPRS/UMTS (MSS/HLR/VLR/SGSN/GGSN).
- Good knowledge of certain protocols: OSIX/SS7/SIP/SCCP/TCAP/ISUP/DTAP/MGTS.
- Back Office experience.
- IP Knowledge and experience with security will be a big benefit.
- Fluent English, German is considered a plus.
