ROLE DESCRIPTION:
To assist the IPC IT Manager in various support functions.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Initial configuration of laptops and desktops for new members of staff
- Provision of technical support concerning other IT peripherals, eg printers, plotters
- Software installations
- Microsoft Office application support
- Broadband, including wireless, configuration and support
- Act as 1st line technical support for IPC colleagues
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:
- Good knowledge with Microsoft Office applications
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory
- Good knowledge of Networking
- Good knowledge of smartphones and tablets
DESIRABLE QUALITIES:
- Degree level or equivalent
- Team player
- Able to work unsupervised
