Back Office Engineer with Nokia Siemens Telecoms Experience

Connect44 is looking for an experienced Back Office Engineer with Nokia Siemens Telecoms experience. Knowledge of GSM, GPRS, UMTS and WLA, LTE and 4G, DX200

Its a rolling contract in Switzerland/Zurich with generous salary and ASAP start.Your tasks

In the function Engineer Network Back office Mobile your main tasks and duties are:

- Prepare, implement, test and document configuration and software changes to the GSM, GPRS, UMTS and WLA, LTE and 4G, elements handled by the BO Mobile Core
- Proactively perform regular network audits in the own area of responsibility and report deviations and faults found, correct errors
- Fault resolution based on trouble tickets, measurement reports and own observations
- Participate in and if applicable, lead project teams for the integration of new network elements
- OnCall duty and TT Remedy handling.
- Participate in project teams for the implementation of new services
- Provide emergency support for the network elements handled by BO Mobile Core
- Available for on call duty and occasional night works for configuration changes

Your competences/qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor of Science or comparable degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.

You have:

- HUAWEI EXPERIENCE IN CS OR PS.
- Proven experience in GSM/GPRS/UMTS and with DX200/Nokia Core Network Elements (MSC, HLR, SGSN and MGW)
- Two ore more years experience in a GSM-related technical position
- Specialist knowledge in at least one of the aforementioned responsibility areas
- IP knowledge is a clear benefit
- Fluent English in conversation and writing
