Connect44 is looking for an experienced Back Office Engineer in Telecoms with EWSD, TDM and SURPASS hiE9200 from Nokia Siemens Networks
Its a rolling contract in Switzerland/Zurich with generous salary and ASAP. start.
YOUR TASKS:
- Operate, Maintain and Optimize VoIP/TDM platforms for fixed network
- 2nd level Incident and Problem Management: Investigate, isolate and drive VoIP/TDM networks and/or product problems reported by customer
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Configuration Management: Execute work orders to apply configuration changes. Plan, schedule and coordinate activities with technical personnel from customer and Telco partners
- Perform Emergency Support covering 24 x 7 network outage and service degradation
- OnCall duty and TT Remedy handling.
- Maintain interfaces with customer's and partner's technical personnel ensuring information flow about reported problems and their resolution status
YOUR COMPETENCES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Depth knowledge of the platforms: EWSD TDM and SURPASS hiE9200 from Nokia Siemens Networks and Session Border Controller from ACME Packet
- Good knowledge of the protocol like: SS7, DSS1, SIP
- Good knowledge on IP data communication
- Proven experience in a telecoms operations environment and particularly in fixed network topology
- Relevant experience in telecom network operation and maintenance
- Good knowledge in network fault/performance/configuration management tools
