Back Office CS2K Engineer - Switzerland

On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Back Office CS2K Engineer to work on a contract basis in Zurich, Switzerland.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

- 2nd level Incident and Problem Management: Investigate, isolate and drive VoIP must have knowledge in Wireline, fixed network topology
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP Class4/5 Softswitch architecture and protocols, mandatory on Nortel CS2K with at least 3 years experience, and preferred on NSN IN and hiE9200
- Knowledge on SIP and C7.
- Data communication knowledge: Advanced knowledge on IP LAN/WAN and related routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, HSRP
- Experience in UNIX System Administration and UNIX Applications
- Good knowledge in network fault/routine maintenance/performance/configuration management tools
- Analytical mind with good problem solving skills and able to work independently
- Good communications and documentation skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written (additionally German, if possible)
- Team player with a flexible, positive and creative attitude to change
- Valid driver license
- Preferred/recommended is Swiss or European (EFTA) passport
