We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for a Back Office Core Team Leader to join their business in Switzerland.
Position Title: Back Office Core Team Leader
Position Type: 3 months contract, than permanent
Start Date: March 2015
Location: Switzerland, Zurich

Responsibilities
- Ensure achievement of the required SLA/performance levels for Core network, including - but not limited to - Trouble ticket management, planned work, preventive maintenance, work orders, project support, and relevant KPIs.
- Manage the virtual BO Core team in both Switzerland and Romania, ensuring optimal utilization of GNOC resources.
- People management of the BO Core team in Switzerland.
- Flag potential issues related to the Core network in time and provide associated risks and possible solutions to overcome them.
- Establish and maintain an excellent working environment in his/her virtual team to enable a high performance.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relations with his/her (internal) customers.
- Continuously improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Own and be responsible for Core network processes and all associated procedures and documentation and their availability to the team.
Qualifications
- Degree in Telecommunication or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years experience in Core Network operation and management.
- Solid understanding of security rules and standards.
- Experience with Operators' OM Department or other Managed Services Organizations is a plus.
- Fluent English, German is considered a plus.
