Back End Developer I Drupal

An opportunity exists for a Back End Developer with sound knowledge in Drupal. You will be second hand to a Senior Developer, working on a recently launched Drupal website.

Knowledge of/experience with Drupal is mandatory. All levels considered.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Manage all aspects of software development including application development, software testing, data analysis, and interface design.
- Provide digital technology solutions, design and delivery services, effectively utilising existing and emerging technologies in the digital environment.
- Provide technical code for database tools and digital development.
- Implement changes and enhancements to the structure of databases and websites
- Liaise with and work collaboratively with units to develop appropriately tested, reviewed and implemented digital projects aligning with overall business project plans.
- Develop and document web application standards and policies in relation to software engineering and support.
- Develop and implement a secure development and production environment to minimise adverse impacts to the business.
- DOCUMENT BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL PROCEDURES REGARDING SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND DATABASE ENHANCEMENT AND OTHER DIGITAL CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT.

Required skills:

- Excellent experience in developing software engineering standards and demonstrated skills in the documentation of operational procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of and proven experience in Internet development and programming using popular software development tools including, but not limited to, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML CSS, XML and JavaScript.
- Solid experience in organising content for digital delivery and a good understanding of search engine optimisation, online usability and accessibility.
- Well-developed ability to work as part of a high performing team to ensure quality solutions are provided within a customer service framework.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills with an ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
- Strong Microsoft Office capability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
