BA Team Lead

This role exists within a Portfolio and Business Management team as part of a Business Analyst Practice which develops, implements, enhances and supports a wide variety of vendor and in-house developed applications.

Experience working in a Financial Institution is essential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The role is responsible for contributing to the overall set up and management of Business Analysis Services. This includes driving consistent processes, tools and templates, defining and developing critical competencies, setting and managing utilisation targets and people management across the globe
- The incumbent will have a direct relationship and accountability for delivery of Business Analysis services globally including Relationship management with both internal and external industry personnel.
- The incumbent will be required to consult with customers and users of the BA Practice to determine project needs. To profile initiatives, analyse and recommend a team structure and competency levels required by a project to be successful and then delivering on these identified capabilities in the people.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- 8+ years as a Business Analyst
- 2+ years as a Business Analyst Team Lead
- Requires working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience working in a Financial Institution
- Experience in organisational change management
- Experience in building a BA practice of professionals or equivalent
- Tertiary qualification in Information technology or equivalent
- Experience in leading/managing a team of professionals (5)
