BA - Sarbanes Oxley/COSO

Main Duties

Providing advice, assistance and good practice guidance to business areas as required to help identify enhancements to existing control activities and its documentation, including the mapping of key financial reporting process.
Proactively identifying gaps/areas for the enhancement of the documentation of controls and reporting thereof, driving implementation of solutions/improvements.
Tracking, reporting and promoting resolution of progress to changes in the business's control documentation

Experience Required:

Ideally a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
A background in financial control with demonstrable experience of successfully delivering control enhancements
Working knowledge S-Ox/COSO compliance programmes
A sound understanding of the financial services sector.
Awareness of appropriate professional standards, codes and regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills/ability to build collaborative business relationships
Excellent proactive, task focused approach with good attention to detail.
Computer literacy and a good knowledge of standard software
